  • Overview

    This position will be responsible for developing business with key clients in the Upstream, Midstream, and petrochemical sectors of the Oil and Gas industry with significant potential to become a major contributor to the growth and profitability

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect new accounts and generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities and close new business in these accounts. Manage the Business Development and Sales Pursuit activities within his/her region from 'Identify' through to 'Close'
    • Liaise with competitors and other service company representatives to maintain intelligence about industry activity as it relates to the company’s business.
    • Further development of up-selling services and promoting services offered to region
    • Ensure that organizational goods or services consistently meet customer needs.
    • Monitor and provide support data on competitors' trending activity in the oil & gas marketplace
    • Communicate information concerning collections, estimated revenues of contracts, new contracts, pending contracts, and overall activity with oil & gas customer accounts
    • Participate in industry social events to promote company within community
    • Advises marketing principals of actions, schedules, prospects, and related activities on continual basis
    • Coordinates team activities for timely responses, submittals, presentations and proposals
    • Establishes goals, objectives, strategies, and budget requirements for developing new business Serves as the client advocate during the completion of projects to enable proper team alignment and assist advancing from concept development through design and construction phases

    Qualifications

    • HS Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Development a plus
    • Able to work within a matrix organization and to manage internal resources in support of customer activities such as Proposals, Negotiations, Sales/Product/Technical/Application Presentations, Events/Trade Shows, After Market Support etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in direct sales within the designated territory.
    • A proven track record of having established and maintained successful business level relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Experience in Upstream, Midstream Oil & Gas industries. Specific knowledge of applications related to Upstream and Midstream companies including fabrication, general site construction for compressor installations, gathering facilities, metering stations, and booster stations.
