Responsibilities

  1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Description
      • The Rigger position requires the person to demonstrate the ability to follow directions and ask pertinent questions when required. The Rigger must be willing to learn industry terms, work practices, proper use of tools/lifting equipment, and skills that will allow the Rigger to assist other yard/lifting personnel as needed. The Rigger must report to work on time and as scheduled and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and supervisors and stay productive throughout the work day.

 

  • Duties
    • Check all rigging before each use.
    • Assist any operator as need.
    • Keep shackle rack in order.
    • Make sure that if any rigging is borrowed by anyone that it is returned.
    • Check out water truck and spraying water in yard as needed.
    • Check lawn mowers and cutting grass as needed.
    • Keep fuel dock clean and if anything is not in working order tell there supervisor so it can be fixed.
    • Assist with keeping yard clean and trash dumped around the yard.
    • Assist on washing any and all equipment as needed.
    • Take care of tractor in yard.
    • Take care of any and all holes in yard.
    • Assist with moving any and all objects and all material in yard.
    • Check that each machine has tag lines on it and if not make new taglines and put them on machine that needs them.
    • Check on fuel dock once a week to make sure that the oil, diesel, and grease are not running low.
    • Complete and discuss a thorough JSEA prior to each task.
    • Always have a positive attitude towards customers being serviced as well as ACI as a company.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Preferably high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • Preferably 3-6 months minimum experience, yard/rigging operations
