Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Able to identify emergency equipment and posted signs.
  • Able to read a tape and work with hand tools.
  • Conduct/Attend daily safety meeting.
  • Take part/Attend JSEA for each specific job and when the job scope changes.
  • Work and interact with other crew members in a professional humane manner.
  • Interact with customer in a manner that insures good customer relations and effective/efficient job completion.
  • Follow all safety rules, safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • Identify any unsafe condition (Hazards), immediately correct those that can be corrected, and alert all crew members of those hazards that have been not corrected or eliminated.
  • Assist in the inventory count, properly racking, stacking and banding of all material.
  • Not fearful of water and can swim, swing from boat at the plus 10 level.
  • Living and sharing quarters with other for 14 to 21 days at a time.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions such as high heat, high humidity and cold.
  • Able to walk a 200ft flair boom.
  • Work in tight quarters and cramped areas.
  • Practice good house keeping that is environmentally friendly and a zero tolerance
  • Practice/Perform Safe rigging duties and inspecting equipment.
  • Assist in the construction, revision, modification and dismantling of all types of scaffolds according to OSHA standard 1946.451.
  • Assist production and construction in rigging, fire watch, back loading boat etc.
  • Walk up and down numerous flights of stairs with materials.
  • Climb up and down ladders and work at various heights.

  • Preferably 1-2 year Minimum Experience as a Scaffold Helper.
