• What you'll do
•  

• The Scaffold Builder position requires the person to demonstrate the ability to erect, inspect, repair, dismantle, maintain, and identify scaffolds for construction services.

• • Duties
    • Ability to read a tape and work with hand tools.
    • Assist the foreman in documenting job.
    • Mentoring new employees in safety and in their job task.
    • Able to identify emergency equipment and posted signs.
    • Able to read a tape and work with hand tools.
    • Attend JSEA for each specific job and when the job scope changes.
    • Work and interact with other crew members in a professional humane manner.
    • Interact with customer in a manner that insures good customer relations and effective/efficient job completion.
    • Follow all safety rules, safety guidelines and safe work practices.
    • Assist in the inventory count, properly racking, stacking and banding of all material.
    • Erect/Dismantle scaffold in tight quarters and cramped areas.
    • Inspect and update existing tag on scaffold daily as scaffold are complete or modified.
    • Practice good housekeeping that is environmentally friendly and a zero tolerance overboard.
    • Practice/Perform Safe rigging duties and inspecting equipment.
    • Construction, revision, modification and dismantling of all types of scaffolds according to OSHA standard 1946.451.
    • Assist production and construction in rigging, fire watch, back loading boat etc.
    • Design the scaffold to provide access to areas designated by the customer.
    • Immediately report all Incidents, no matter how small, to Supervisor
    • Supply identification for scaffolds
    • Ensure fall protection methods are available, adequate and maintained on scaffold assemblies for personnel that may have the possibility for the use of an erected scaffold.

• What you need to know
• Preferably 1-2 year Minimum Experience in Scaffold Building
• Education
• Preferably high school diploma or equivalent
